A ceiling light is a light fixture that is completely flush against the ceiling.
Ideal for rooms with normal or low ceiling height.

The ideal size of a ceiling light shade depends on the dimensions of your room.
Generally, a diameter of 40 to 50 cm is recommended for a bedroom or hallway, and a larger ceiling light, 60 to 80 cm , for a living room or dining room.
Pro Tip:
To easily calculate the ideal diameter of your ceiling light, add the length and width of the room (in meters) and multiply by 8. For example, a room of 4 x 5 m = 9 x 8 = approximately 72 cm in diameter .
If you're unsure, choose a slightly larger lampshade: it will better highlight your space and provide more even lighting.
We chose to make a ceiling light with a double lampshade to give depth and scale to our light fixture.
The diffuser is a PVC (or Polyphane) plate placed inside the ceiling light shade. It hides the bulb and diffuses the light, for a more even and elegant result.
A ceiling light with a diffuser offers superior visual comfort, as the direct light from the bulb does not dazzle and creates a warmer atmosphere.
